Meri Nambis

#Meri_Nambis: "Ismael, I came a long way to be with you, please come back to me"

Late Ismael Samuel, is from Nebilyer in Western Highlands Province has passed away at Mt. Hagen general hospital recently.

He has been one of my best friend as we both drove along Highlands Highway for a short period of time, unfortunately, he just passed away.

His wife (name unknown), is a coastal lady from Kerema. They fell in love & got married in Port Moresby while late Ismael was the then bus driver.

After years of residing in Pom, late Ismael and wife (Meri Nambis) agreed to leave Pom. Meri Nambis loved her late husband so much so she didn't think twice but to leave her place, families, friends, relatives & go to Highlands & settled there permanently with her husband.

While residing in Mt. Hagen, late Ismael started to feel sick & down with flu & malaria so the wife took him to Mt. Hagen general hospital.

The coastal lady is a very strong woman. She had put so much effort just to make sure her husband regain his normal health. Unfortunately, her husband passes on leaving her with sorrow and sadness.

She proved the saying, "I will still love you till our last breath."

In fact, late Ismael loved her wife (Meri Nambis) so much. Before he passes on, tears fell down on his face after seeing her wife crying with pain next to his sick bed. For some minutes, he looked at his wife with tears running down on his face, & closes his eyes.

In the hospital at that very moment, the painful tears running down on late Ismael's face shows how much he loves his wife & leaving her behind was the unbearable pain he literally felt before he closes his eyes..

The wife hugged her late husband around his neck and cried with so much pain... "Ismael no...no please," "why u kisim me kam long Hagen na lusim me olsem na go."

"Ismael...please come back to me"..."I came a long way just to be with you"... "Please Ismael come back to me."💔😭😭

None of the family members of her late husband were around during the passing of her late husband, it was her, who stood tall at her husband's last breath.

Seating next to late Ismael's bed, I was unable to hold back my tears, honestly I was broke into peaces while seeing his wife crying with so much pain & tears & watching my late brother took his last breath.

I will always remember how you greets me with Head Lights and shouts over me and says "BATA Eric!" as we drive ahead to each other.

Bata, ba me lukim ol kar, 260, 350 & M3K na bai me tingim you Bata Ismael.

May Your Soul Rest in Eternal Peace...😭💔..

I just want to conclude with a word of encouragement.

Dear male folks out there, no matter what type of woman you marry (she can be aggressive, she can violent, rude & so forth), no matter the type of character she possess, your love & respect towards her must always be 100 plus percent & that must come from the bottom of your heart.

One thing I have noticed from costal ladies, is that when they truly love a man, they can sacrifice everything & anything, they can go miles for the sake of love.

If some of you Highlands brothers got married to a coastal ladies, please look after them well. Give them the Love & Respect they truly deserve. If they leave they home province & come Highlands, they are sacrificing everything for love. Repay them with respect, protect & love them from the bottom of your heart.

K3 prepaid card for a Job

Making use of whatever little assets we have can impact our carrier and passion for a life time. Having quit my first job and hoping to find a new one promptly is too difficult in a economy that is crush with inflation and higher cost of living, and rising unemployment, it is the going gets tuff, the medicore gets smarter. One of my handy tool I kept in check at my finger tip is my smart phone. How smart you are in possessing a smart phone amd making optimal use of it. After quiting my first job I was without a laptop, typing out application and sending them in café is very expensive.

Realizing that having a smart phone would be ample enough for me to secure another job, I bought one at a cost k700.00 (Samsung A12) and started launching my application. I went to Google App Store and installed all the necessary apps like pdf converter, Ms work and Resume Builder etc. Withing the reach of my finger tip when I saw  job ads in the media and online platforms, I started prepared my application immediately with my two fingers punching the screed keyboard.

Instead of a k20.00 per hour internet access at cafes, I spent K3.00 on  prepaid card, purchase data bundles and send my application. Just by using my smart phone.  Moreover, what interests me most is I spend less to launch an application for a job advertised. Going on, I was able to attended  four interviews and from my latter interview the HR Manger was impressed with the layout of my documents prepared and He asked me how the application was prepared. I finally made it through in my last interview and secure the job. The same question pops up again, who prepare your application, the typing was well set out. I told the panel my two fingers at a cost of 3.00 kina prepaid, bit of laughing at the end but that's where I believe what fascinating to them as being a creative model.
